The training cycle has begun!
To best honest I'm kind of wishing in this moment that I started two weeks earlier, but I'm lucky that I even started when I did. I hadn't marked the 12 weeks on the calendar, and knew it was coming up, but when I realized on a Monday that 12 weeks started that exact week... well, it didn't leave much room for error. But it's all good, I took it in stride (teehee) and got going the next day.
I have decided to write an IG post for each run on this training cycle, and then tie it all in with weekly updates here.
Week 1 was a little on the weak side in that I only fit in two runs. I was at the beach (with friends) and had a lot happening. I have come to a place in my running and life where I understand that the idea of missing a run does not need to consume me. So this week while it should, or could, have been three to four runs, was only two.
I'm looking forward to training again and am already being reminded of my love for running.
